It is a characteristic scottish house. Very good service, very comfortable and large rooms, friendly owners.
Friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. Convenient for a night stop but is six miles from the nearest eatery so you have to drive to dinner there and back which after a long day's drive is not good for the driver to relax etc..
Beds were not all that comfortable.
Very pleasant welcome and a really good breakfast. The proprietors were very helpful. Perfect overnight stay on way to ferry.
Hotel a little "tired", comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Nice food
The owners are very welcome and very clean rooms. Best area for to visit the highlands.
The inn is quite luxurious - furniture, decor, building itself. Elder couple tending to inn is sweet and helpful. And - out of 12 hotels we visited during our journey through Scotland/England, this one definitely had the best breakfast!
A bit damp, maybe weather had something to do with it. Another thing - it's a roadside inn, so if you're a light sleeper you might not get a good rest.
It was on our route to the west coast. Hospitality and welcome by our hosts was excellent. Very good breakfast.
Nothing we didn't like. But the shower in our room needed the grouting to be renewed.
the breakfast was very good
the fact that there was no bar or evening meals available
Nice place, very kind owner. Delicious breakfirst. Plenty of parking place. Lovely room decorations.
The room are fully equiped. Although some of the things are a bit aging, they are very well maintained
Friendly welcome. Lovely breakfast.
Decor in the rooms was rather old fashioned and the room was cold.
Real friendly hosts! Told some quite good tales of the nearly 300 year old hotel! Cosy launge environment a place were you can enjoy some pleasant silence!
The hosts are 76 years of age... it should be me serving them breakfast!!
Friendly couple lovely breakfast kept us going most of the day.
Not very close to pub or restaurant.
If you like "Little Britain", breakfast time at Achilty is worth a visit. Breakfast also is very good.
Weird place, very old fashioned room and owners, but they were very nice.
The bed was really uncomfortable, and we found ants in our jam in the morning (but it was still very tasty home-made jam...).
We used the hotel as a stopover on our way further north and it was perfect for this.Breakfast was lovely. The hotel could do with some tlc but everything was clean, the welcome was warm and the breakfast lovely.
